Ginger Garlic Baby Bok Choy Recipe
1/2 tablespoon of olive oil
1 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon of fresh ginger
approx. 4 heads of bok choy
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon water
pinch of chilli flakes (optional)
sesame seeds to garnish
Combine sesame oil, soy sauce, water and chilli flakes in a small bowl. Set aside.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet and cook the garlic and ginger until fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes.
Mix in the whites of the bok choy and cook 3-4 minutes. Add soy sauce mixture and leaves and cook 2 minutes more or until heated through and leaves are gently wilted.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve!
*** feel free to add chicken, beef, tofu, and/or hakurei turnips to make into a stir fry. Then serve on rice! Adjust ingredients to your liking!
