Ginger Garlic Baby Bok Choy Recipe


  • 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil

  • 1 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon of fresh ginger

  • approx. 4 heads of bok choy

  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1/2 tablespoon water

  • pinch of chilli flakes (optional)

  • sesame seeds to garnish


  • Combine sesame oil, soy sauce, water and chilli flakes in a small bowl. Set aside.

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet and cook the garlic and ginger until fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes.

  • Mix in the whites of the bok choy and cook 3-4 minutes. Add soy sauce mixture and leaves and cook 2 minutes more or until heated through and leaves are gently wilted.

  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve!

*** feel free to add chicken, beef, tofu, and/or hakurei turnips to make into a stir fry. Then serve on rice! Adjust ingredients to your liking!
